Free for All: Anyone’s game

Participation in Japoly is free for all. We’ve been told over and over again that it doesn’t make business sense to not monetise participation. Our reality is that most kids in the country only have dreams, not the budget to fulfill them. Without being too sentimental about the tragedy of fate, why should the inability to pursue the path of becoming an elite athlete due to any reason derive anyone the joy of competing in sport, of testing their own limits, of expressing the innate passion that exists in each of us? Why should they be deprived of the opportunity of imbibing qualities of endurance, perseverance, will-power, and hard-work from the most practical of teachers, i.e. sports? Why should they be denied a chance to tell their stories?

Rules of the game​

Try copying this

1 vs 1 for 3 minutes inside a cage. It’s simple – you are your own team. No one else to depend on but your own smarts, your own skills, your own fighting spirit. 

If you commit 2 fouls, you have to play wearing a 10kg vest up until the whistle blows. 

In case the scores are tied, both the players will get 1 minute to score the golden goal that takes them to victory. The twist? You’ll have to do so while wearing a 10k vest.

In case you still haven’t been able to find a way, what else then – penalties.
